v  How could I sign up?

It’s very easy & takes only few minutes to sign up on JhunJhunu carpooling platform (App- http://bit.ly/jhunjhunu-app , website- www.jjrides.com ). You need to enter your existing mobile number (on which you can receive OTP), email address, Date of Birth (you must be 18+), registration type (Co-traveller or Driver/vehicle owner) & go ahead. You will instant receive an OTP on your registered mobile number (mobile number verification process), fill it with your desired password & it’s done. Now enjoy co-travelling by logging in your JhunJhunu account.

v  Why do I need to sign up? Is there any sign up fee/charges?

You need to sign up on JhunJhunu cotravelling app or website because we want to offer our users a safe & secure intercity carpooling environment. We get our users’ basic details i.e. Contact information, DOB, Email address, etc. in this sign up process so that in any emergency situation we need access to the users. It is also mandatory as per legal conducts of Government of India.

It is absolutely free for all the users of JhunJhunu, a brand name owned by Coxswain Services Pvt. Ltd.

v  How could I log in?

After downloading the app of JhunJhunu- carpooling app for intercity or long distance & completing sign up process, you only need to enter your registered mobile number & password which you filled during the sign up process and it’s done. Now you can offer/book a ride for pleasant & safe journey.

v  What should you do if you forget your password?

No need to worry. Just click on the “forgot password” link given below the same log in page & reset a new password for your same profile. You will again receive an OTP in this password reset process due to security issue.

v  What should I do if facebook login is not working?

It would not be working in case of non-availability of required content as Mobile number, DOB & Email address by company’s terms & conditions. In our sign up process, we need to verify each & every mobile number by sending OTP on the existing mobile number. So if you face same kind of problem, please login / sign up manually or you can contact our 24*7 helpline no. 0120-4544166 for any kind of assistance.

 

v  My profile »

This is a very crucial section for not only company but also for other users because in ride sharing, users prefer to know the co traveller first & for the same they visit the profiles of them. You need to always fill accurate & true details of yours in profile sections i.e. Name, Preferences, Vehicle details (in case of driver/vehicle owner),I.D. (D.L., Aadhaar, Passport) etc.

v  Profile photo »

It should be that much original & current dated so that other fellow travellers could recognize you when they will first meet you before the journey. It becomes very important to be genuine in ride sharing because trust & security are bridge of relationship of carpooling among users & co travellers want to travel with the same people whose photos are shown in profile section.

Kindly ignore goggles’, group & unrecognizable photos.

v  Email address »

It is must as per company’s legal policy & it should be in use so that you can receive notifications as ride alerts, ratings, etc. because sometimes if you would not receive sms alerts, this becomes an alternative option.

It also authenticates your profile for other users.

v  phone number »

It should be currently in use as you will receive OTP, calls from co travellers  & emergency services on the same number although you can also fill your secondary number (family or friend) in your profile section so that in case of emergency (SOS / Panic button service), one text message of live location could be sent to them also by the company.

v   ID »

It is must by the company’s terms & condition that you should fill a valid I.D. proof i.e. Aadhaar, Passport, D.L., etc. In your profile section & that should be genuine.

It is not only mandatory as per company’s & Government’s norms & it also validate & authenticate your profile section for other users.

 

v  Account closure »

wEWe respect the user preference towards our services. Users can anytime write us an email on info@jjrides.com with the subject line “Account Closure Request” & provide their registered Email & Mobile number in the same email. We will close that account within 7 days period.

 

 

Offer a ride

·         How to offer a ride »

Team JhunJhunu has made it very simple & user friendly to offer a ride.

For an example you have a thought of travelling Agra from Delhi NCR on a certain date & time & you want to offer the seats of your car to other like-minded co-travellers so you just need to open your JhunJhunu app & follow few simple steps-

From- (Particular city name- Noida/Greater Noida/Ghaziabad/Delhi/Gurugram/Faridabad),

Date & Time- (as per your preference or schedule),

We suggest the timings between 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

To- (City name- Agra)

Stoppages- if you want to have a break of few minutes during your journey or want to take few more fellow passengers from those places (Greater Noida/Mathura/Vrindavan)

Seats which you don’t want to offer- you have this luxury also here. You can choose the seats which you don’t want to offer if you’re already travelling with someone in your car

Price- we would show you suggested price which would be affordable to other co travellers but you can always make it higher or lower side as you are the owner of that car.

We urge to go with the suggested price as it’s a sharing service to distribute the journey cost, make relation & enjoy the ride not to earn profit.

It’s done- Now finally your ride has been posted & live. Now other co travellers could book the seats offered by you  & you would get instant notification for the same.

 

·         How to add a car »

On this long distance or inter-city co travelling / carpooling / ride sharing app, you can add your vehicle by going into your profile section. In this profile section you have an option of Vehicle Information. In this you can add the details of your car i.e. Model, Company name, Images, etc.

·         How to manage your ride offer »

Although it’s a ride sharing platform but you can edit the details of your scheduled rides any time before getting any booking.

You just need to go to the history of your rides & edit the details as time, date, etc.

·         How to manage fellow-travellers »

JhunJhunu is a co travelling platform where you can edit the seats of your vehicles any time. You need to go to the history of your rides & edit the offered seats details if you want more or less co travellers for your intercity journey.

·         How to get paid »

For private vehicle users- You can use our in built digital wallet on JhunJhunu app to get the fare amount from co traveller or you can take in any other mode i.e. digital wallet, cash, etc.

For commercial vehicle users- JhunJhunu provides pre-paid service to its commercial vehicle users so that there would be less chances of cancellation. Driver/vehicle owner can raise the request from the app to withdrawal the money in the already filled the account details in “Bank Account Details” section of the app after completing the ride & company would disburse the account within 24-72 working HRS.

·         How to cancel a ride »

It’s your journey & you are the boss. So if you want to cancel the ride due to any valid reason, just go to ride history section & edit the ride with delete the ride option &  it’s done.

We request to post the rides which are more promising with date, time & schedule as cancellation of rides spoils others plans & trips also as it is a carpooling /  co travelling / ride sharing service for long distance / inter-city.

·         What if a co traveller cancels the ride before departure?

Private / white plate vehicles- we understand the emotions which a ride provider gets due to last minute cancellation from fellow travellers but in ride sharing this does happen. But we are determined to provide you the co passengers to make your long distance journey talkative & experience sharing. The moment one cancels the ride, we make those seats again live & available for other co travellers so that those seats could be booked again before your departure time.

 

·         How do I report that a ride hasn’t taken place?

Team JhunJhunu has made it very simple to find a ride for your inter-city travelling. Just open JhunJhunu app http://bit.ly/jhunjhunu-app or visit website- www.jjrides.com, log in very your credentials & you would find an option to “book a ride” on home page itself. By clicking on that you would get a new window to fill the details “From”, “To” & “Date & time” and you would get all the rides whichever would be available on that preferred schedule.

You can also call us on our 24*7 helpline number 0120-4544166 or write us on info@jjrides.com to book a ride for your upcoming trip in advance. It would be more hassle free confirmed trip by pre booking.

 

 

·         What if one can’t find a ride?

If there would not be availability of any ride on any particular date & date as it happens in inter-city ride sharing, that user would be notify by the Team JhunJhunu via text message, email or ride alert whenever there would be availability of ride.

·         How can one find out more about a car owner/Driver?

The information of the users, be it car owner/driver or co traveller/fellow passenger, become very important in ride sharing/co travelling/carpooling in intercity/long distance & Team JhunJhunu understands it very well.

One co traveller could get the needed information about the driver i.e. Name, Contact No., Photo, etc. by clicking the driver details option which would be on the ride booking details. Apart from this, company always has Documents of that particular vehicle i.e. R.C., Insurance, Photos, etc. for any emergency need.

·         How to pay for a ride »

Commercial vehicle Ride- It’s a prepaid service of JhunJhunu : A long distance carpooling app. Users need to pay online through a secured payment gateway (Payumoney) of the company. It gives more surety to the cab driver of booking confirmation.

Users can claim invoice for the same by writing on info@jjrides.com or calling on 01204544166 between 10 am to 5 pm on any working day.

Private Vehicle Ride- Company does not have any say in this mode of transportation. In this case, it is as per mutual understanding between rider & seat booker.

After booking a ride, co traveller / fellow traveller gets information as mobile no., email, etc. about the vehicle driver in notification section of app & also via text message.

·         How to book a ride »

Team JhunJhunu has made it very simple to book a ride for your inter-city travelling.

Just open JhunJhunu app http://bit.ly/jhunjhunu-app or visit website- www.jjrides.com, log in very your credentials & you would find an option to “book a ride” on home page itself. By clicking on that you would get a new window to fill the details “From”, “To” & “Date & time” and you would get all the rides whichever would be available on that preferred schedule.

User could shortlist the preferred ride as per schedule, price, vehicle type & rating. By clicking anywhere on the text body of that ride (Green color text), user would get a seat plan of that vehicle. User can book any available seat & click ahead then user would get payment option. One should click “pay from wallet” if one has payment in JhunJhunu wallet otherwise click on “pay” option & it will take that user on payment gateway if it’s a commercial vehicle otherwise it would book the seat if it is a private/white plate vehicle.

·         Cancelling a booking »

Commercial vehicle- As it is a prepaid service, user should cancel the ride atleast before 6 Hrs to get 100% refund otherwise there would be only 50% refund to the user within next 7 working days.

·         What one should do if the car owner has changed the route from the agreed route?

Team JhunJhunu understand the security & safety concern in ride sharing / carpooling / co travelling in long distance or intercity that’s why company has made a inbuilt panic button/SOS in its JhunJhunu app http://bit.ly/jhunjhunu-app . If user finds anything suspicious, one could press that panic button immediately. It will send live location to the company as well as the secondary number filled by the user so that rescue team as Dial 100 could be sent at the suspicious place.

·         What could a user do if the car owner/driver has cancelled the ride?

We understand the panic situation which users get at 11th hour ride cancellation but the irony is it does happen in long distance / intercity co travelling / ride sharing / carpooling.

Commercial vehicle ride cancellation- if ride was cancelled before 6 Hrs of the departure time, user / co traveller/ fellow passenger would get 100% refund as it is a prepaid service option or company would arrange a seat in another vehicle as per convenience of the co traveller & if it is cancelled within the 6 Hrs. before the departure time, company would refund the fare amount to the co traveller, try to book another seat on same schedule & take appropriate action against the driver i.e. rating reduction, monetary penalty, etc.

v  What could a co traveller or fellow passenger do if the car owner or driver don’t come at meeting place?

We understand the panic situation which users get when driver/vehicle owner don’t come at the pickup point but the irony is it does happen in long distance / intercity co travelling / ride sharing / carpooling.

Commercial vehicle ride- co traveller / fellow passenger should wait at the meeting point for at least 30 minutes & try to contact driver on phone call. If driver would not come till next 30 minutes of the departure time, co traveller should inform to the JhunJhunu team / company Coxswain Services Pvt. Ltd. Immediately by calling on 01204544166 or writing an email on info@jjrides.com so that another cab could be arranged & refund process could be initiated.
